Attention Groupon Students! To anyone wondering why they have not yet been scheduled:

We were only given a list of names by Groupon and those who filled out the form have been contacted in the order that the form was received. We call in large chunks of people, and today I called 16 people and only got 3 on the phone.

I can assure you we’re doing our best to schedule everyone but my assistant doing most of the scheduling generally only has a 10% success rate reaching people and most SCHEDULE with him then. Please, please be patient and i can assure you we’ll get you all taken care of!! We’ve already had 44 lessons this summer and many people have asked to do a 2nd and 3rd lesson based on how happy they were with the first one! Additionally, many people have requested to wait until fall when the weather was more predicable and slightly cooler!

Well, I got in from St. Louis after shooting some more Graduation Ceremonies this week and now I’m hard at work finishing up some virtual tours and editing Adrianna and Tony’s favorite picks from their Engagement Session.  We also had a great meeting with Kaycee Wright the other day to discuss her 2011 Wedding and, once again this has been the busiest 5 weeks since I’ve been in business.  Thanks to EVERYONE for understanding and bearing with us while we hire some extra help around here, and also thanks to all the photography students for putting up with our weather that has been messing up a lot of the scheduled photography lessons.

These past two weeks we’ve shot 7 Virtual tours, built 2 Real Estate Websites, Shot over 6300 College Graduate’s photos, and I personally am really looking forward to getting back into a regular schedule this week since graduation season is over!!

We’ve got a few really important weddings coming up @Kyle Callea @DianneSepe @JayBeebe @StevenSevatah and we can’t wait to start showing off our latest wedding work.  Thanks again everyone for hanging in there with us while we try to get everything caught up.  Tisha Harvey: We are DYING to show you your wedding photos, so let us know when you get back in town from your wonderful honeymoon!

I designed this card this evening for a good friend who is reinventing the branding for his fantastic business – his carpentry is the best i’ve ever seen and his trim work is to DIE for. I tried to keep it clean, yet visually interesting – I think the hammers are a little bit ‘cliche but we’ll see what the client thinks!

• Get plenty of SLEEP- you want to look refreshed and alert, so make sure you have at least two night’s worth of decent shut-eye.
• HAIR- if you want to cut your hair, do so two weeks prior to the shoot. This way the cut will look more natural. To shave or not to shave: it’s up to you. Feel free to come with a full beard/mustache/ gotee. You can shave them off for different looks

We love shooting parties, races, barbecues and any other gathering that you could describe by saying “a bunch of people doing _________.” We will HAPPILY cover your events or parties for $100 per hour and put all the photos online for ANYONE with a password to DOWNLOAD for free. Great shoot tonight WAYYYY past sunset . . . thanks to the LOW NOISE ISO 1600 from my new Nikon D300s – I was able to steal some of that light from the sky in the weeee hours!!!

I’m really excited about all of the new Advertising that I’m rolling forward with – I feel momentum building finally and I love what I’m doing!!!
